I. About this patch
==================================================================

The Satellite Forms 6.0 Patch SF-60002 contains updated Satellite
Forms Runtime Engine files for PalmOS.  Updated versions of the
RDK and SDK runtime engines are included.  A separate update for
the Trial Edition SDK runtime engine is also available on request
by contacting Technical Support.  The patch is delivered as a self
extracting Zip file.

II. Issues resolved in this patch

This patch resolves the following issues:

*  BUG # SF-00035 - A text control that is hidden may replace its
caption with that from another control on the form.

III. Installing this patch
==================================================================

1. Run the SF-Patch-60002.exe file and unzip the files to a
   temporary location (the default suggested by the Winzip self
   extractor is C:\SFPatch).

2. Copy the SF60RDK.prc file to the location where you installed
   Satellite Forms 6.0 (eg. C:\Program Files\Satellite Forms
   6.0\), in the three folders where the RDK engine resides,
   replacing the existing RDK engine prc file:

   C:\Program Files\Satellite Forms 6.0\Redist\Palm
   C:\Program Files\Satellite Forms 6.0\Runtime\Palm
   C:\Program Files\Satellite Forms 6.0\Redist\Palm\Runtime Installer\Disk\program files\Satellite Forms Runtime for Palm\Palm

3. Copy the SF60SDK.prc file to the location where you installed
   Satellite Forms 6.0 (eg. C:\Program Files\Satellite Forms
   6.0\), in the single folder where the SDK engine resides,
   replacing the existing SDK engine prc file:

   C:\Program Files\Satellite Forms 6.0\Runtime\Palm

4. Install the updated RDK and/or SDK engine on your Palm
   device(s) via Hotsync or other installation method.  You do not
   need to recompile your application: you simply need to replace
   the existing runtime engine with the updated version.

5. To check that the patch installed properly, complete the following:

   (a) For the RDK engine on the PalmOS device, use the App | Info
   menu option in the Palm Application Launcher (home screen).
   Tap on the Version pushbutton at the bottom of the form, then
   scroll down to see Sat.Forms RDK in the list.  It should report
   version 6.0.1.

   (b) For the SDK engine on the PalmOS device, use the App | Info
   menu option in the Palm Application Launcher (home screen).
   Tap on the Version pushbutton at the bottom of the form, then
   scroll down to see Sat.Forms in the list.  It should report
   version 6.0.1.

   (c) In the the About menu of the SatForms SDK engine, the
   version should be reported as v 6.0.1 (Build 010) (M).
